Qualicare KC Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Care Assistants (aka Caregivers & much more). We consider all applicants for all current & new positions.
  • We are looking for 1 to 2 CA's for Client in Lees Summit.  5 days per week M-F, late morning 3hr shifts.
  • Nice lady, lives alone at home.  She wants someone who will keep busy and be proactive in learning her home and needs.
  • MUST have safe transportation for occasional errands and/or transporting her to appointments.

Job Summary
The Care Assistant position is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Director of Care and performs various tasks as necessary to meet the client’s needs. A CA is not limited to just personal care.  We are their Personal Assistant and MUST be flexible as well as adapt to changing environments at times.  

Responsibilities 
  • Meal Preparation
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Accompany clients on outings
  • Shopping and errands
  • Medication Reminders
  • Ambulation and transporting of clients
  • Provide companionship to clients
  • Ability to follow care-plan
  • Documentation/Charting
Qualifications
  • Ability to travel around location territory
  • Access to internet/mobile phone
  • Must have a safe vehicle for transportation of clients. ie: appointments, errands etc.

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
